Lean Aging Wellness

Food matters. So do the beliefs, emotions, relationships, identity, purpose, and daily environment that shape how you nourish yourself.

Transformational Nutrition Coaching

As a Certified Transformational Nutrition Coach, Ron looks beyond food rules. The Durable Body approach integrates nutrition science with the psychology of behavior and the client-defined spiritual dimensions of meaning, values, identity, and connection.

The Transformational Nutrition model

Three dimensions of whole-person change.

Ron’s Certified Transformational Nutrition Coach education through the Institute of Transformational Nutrition is built around the integration of science, psychology, and spirituality. Within the Durable Body Method, these dimensions help turn nutrition information into changes that fit the whole person.

Physical nutrition · science

Physical nutrition · science

Food quality, protein, energy, hydration, micronutrients, digestion, glucose regulation, body composition, genetics, and the metabolic context of recovery.

Mental nutrition · psychology

Mental nutrition · psychology

Habits, beliefs, identity, stress, emotional eating, motivation, self-talk, and the behavioral patterns that influence consistency.

Spiritual nutrition · meaning

Spiritual nutrition · meaning

Client-defined values, purpose, relationships, connection, gratitude, rituals, and the deeper reasons a person wants to care for the body.

Integration · daily life

Integration · daily life

Translate all three dimensions into realistic meals, routines, coaching actions, and—when desired—therapeutic personal-chef support.

How this supports the Durable Body

Behavior change that reaches beyond a meal plan.

A list of foods cannot explain why someone eats differently under stress, struggles to stay consistent, loses connection with personal goals, or needs a more meaningful reason to change. Coaching explores the physical plan and the human patterns surrounding it.

Spirituality is client-defined. It may involve meaning, purpose, values, relationships, nature, faith, or personal practices. It is never imposed and is not a substitute for licensed mental-health care.
  • Clarify the personal reason behind the goal
  • Identify beliefs and patterns that affect follow-through
  • Create nutrition practices that fit real schedules and preferences
  • Connect food choices to strength, recovery, and long-term capacity

Advanced testing & personalized insights

Use testing with intention—not by default.

When a test has a clear purpose, advanced laboratory and nutrigenomic information may help clarify priorities and make coaching more individualized. Testing is optional and selected according to history, goals, existing medical care, and whether the result is likely to change the plan.

Personalized nutrition genetics

Nutrigenomix

Genetic information that may help inform food, nutrient, performance, and lifestyle strategies without treating genes as destiny.

Gastrointestinal insights

GI-MAP

A stool-based qPCR panel that measures selected microorganisms and intestinal-health markers for appropriately qualified review.

Nutritional biomarkers

NutrEval

Blood-and-urine testing that evaluates a broad range of nutritional biomarkers, including amino acids, fatty acids, vitamins, minerals, and oxidative-stress markers.

Hormone patterns

DUTCH Complete

Dried-urine testing of sex hormones, hormone metabolites, cortisol patterns, and selected organic-acid markers.

Metabolic nutrition

Metabolomix+

Urine-based nutritional biomarker testing with optional bloodspot and buccal-swab components when appropriate.

Existing clinical information

Provider-supplied results

Relevant labs and reports supplied by a client’s licensed healthcare team may also inform education, coaching priorities, and appropriate referrals.

Testing boundary: Availability depends on laboratory rules, location, and appropriate clinical oversight. Lean Aging Wellness may coordinate access and translate appropriately reviewed findings into nutrition, lifestyle, and culinary strategies. Coaching does not diagnose disease, provide psychotherapy, or replace medical nutrition therapy or licensed medical care.
